The concept of retailer window-shopping has remained largely unchanged over the last 100 years, until now. A German Adidas store recently unveiled a digital touch screen interactive window featuring their entire product catalog. Life sized mannequins can be configured with products to get the full effect of what the items will look like together. Customers can then move items into a shopping bag where they are stored. From there, the user visits a website on their smartphone where they are issued a temporary pin in order to purchase the items, save them to review later, and share the experience with their social networks.
