The rise of digital media consumption has reduced the distribution of print, but there is still a market for traditional publications. QR codes and augmented reality are popular ways to create digital extensions for print ads, but is there another? The Oct. 5th issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine will feature an ad from The CW Network with a small LCD screen on the page. The screen will connect to the internet and deliver both video and a live Twitter feed right there in the ad.
