The Apple Store is debuting a new line of smartphone app controlled LED light bulbs called Hue. The starter kit, which includes the wireless bridge and 3 bulbs, will be priced at $199 with additional bulbs at $59. Using an app, the phone connects over the internet to the wireless bridge allowing the user to control the lighting from anywhere in the world. This easy to use setup will likely be an entry point for persons interested in the new trend of home automation and should be the first of many automation devices from electronics manufacturers over the next few years.
